About FrameShift
FrameShift is a Roblox game studio based in Miami. We started in 2024 with a simple goal: make games on Roblox that are actually worth playing. We're a small team — which means the people we bring in have a real say in what we build and how we build it.
About this role
HUDs, menus, inventory screens — the stuff players stare at every session. We want UI that gets out of the way and actually works, not just something that looks okay in a screenshot. You'd work close with the programmers to get things implemented right.
You Will
- Design and own the full in-game UI system — HUDs, menus, inventory, popups
- Produce high-fidelity mockups in Figma and deliver assets ready for implementation
- Work directly with engineers to get UI built accurately and performantly in Studio
- Maintain and evolve a consistent UI component library and style guide
- Respond to feedback from playtesting and iterate until it feels right
You Have
- A portfolio with real UI work — game UI preferred
- Figma or similar
- Some feel for how Roblox UI gets built, or willingness to learn fast
- You notice when things are slightly off
